EDUCATION
The
Fontana Unified School District is located in Southern California
in what is known as the Inland Empire, a growing community 50
miles east of Los Angeles. The 35-school district serves preschool-adult
in an urban/suburban environment. The community is rich in cultural,
racial, and economic diversities. The City cherishes its differing
cultural backgrounds and the common goal of high expectations
for its children, and the commitment to the continuing improvement
of its schools.

California
State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is the sole public, comprehensive,
regional university serving the Riverside-San Bernardino counties
of Southern California. Founded in 1965, the campus offers more
than 50 traditional baccalaureate and master's degree programs
along with a wide variety of education credential and certificate
programs to a student body of 16,000. Because of recent growth,
new facilities (10 new buildings in 10 years) have been established,
providing students, faculty and staff with an excellent learning
and working environment equipped with superior technological capabilities.

The
Fontana Skate Park was created in an effort to promote recreational
activities in a safe environment for the youth and teens in the
area. Located next to the Fontana Teen Center, the park is just
one component of an all new youth oriented Jack Bulik Park, which
will eventually include and indoor roller hockey rink. Advanced
features of the Fontana skate park include on-line "Web"
cameras for Internet viewing, fun boxes, slant rails, 1 ft. "baby"
bowls, 7-9 foot "sick" bowls, and a finger board park.
Without question, this is a skate park the community can grow
with.
